General

What is Dailer?

Dailer is a call automation tool for business teams. It dials through your phone, records both sides of the conversation, transcribes everything locally, and delivers searchable transcripts to your dashboard.

Who is Dailer for?

Teams that make outreach calls daily — sales, recruiting, HR, operations, and compliance. If you talk to people on the phone as part of your job, Dailer is for you.

What stage is Dailer in?

We're in alpha. The core features work, and we're refining them with early users. You get free access in exchange for honest feedback.

Is Dailer available outside India?

Dailer works anywhere you have a phone and a Windows computer. Pricing is in INR but we accept international payments.

Do I need to install anything?

Yes — a lightweight desktop agent runs on your Windows computer. It handles the phone connection, recording, and transcription. The web dashboard works in any browser.

Privacy & Security

Is my data private?

Yes. Transcription happens locally on your machine. Audio files are processed on your computer and never uploaded to external AI services.

Where are recordings stored?

Recordings are saved locally on your computer. Transcripts are stored in your team's dashboard for search and collaboration.

Can Dailer employees access my calls?

No. Audio stays on your machine. We only store transcripts in your dashboard, and those are accessible only to your team.

Is call recording legal?

Recording laws vary by jurisdiction. In most Indian states, one-party consent applies. We recommend informing the other party. Dailer provides tools to help with consent, but compliance is your responsibility.

What happens if I delete my account?

All your data is permanently deleted from our servers. Local recordings on your machine remain unless you delete them yourself.

Recording & Transcription

How does recording work?

Dailer captures both sides of the call — your voice through your microphone and the other person's voice through your phone's audio output. No speakerphone needed.

What's the audio quality like?

High quality. We capture at CD-quality sample rates. The result is clear, intelligible audio suitable for accurate transcription.

How accurate is the transcription?

We use state-of-the-art speech recognition that runs locally. Accuracy is typically 90-95% for clear calls in English and Hindi. Noisy environments or heavy accents may reduce accuracy.

How long until I get a transcript?

Typically 2-3 minutes after the call ends, depending on call length and your computer's processing power. Longer calls take proportionally longer.

Does it work in languages other than English?

Yes. The transcription engine supports multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and many others. Accuracy varies by language.

Calling & Phone Setup

Do I need a special phone?

No. Any smartphone that connects to your Windows computer works. Android and iPhone both supported.

Does Dailer use my phone's minutes?

Yes. Calls go through your regular phone connection. Dailer automates the dialing and recording — it doesn't replace your phone service.

Can I use Dailer with a desk phone?

Currently, Dailer works with smartphones connected to your computer. Desk phone support is on our roadmap.

What if a call fails to connect?

Dailer detects failed connections and logs them. You can retry with one click. Failed calls don't generate recordings or charges.

Can I receive calls through Dailer?

Not yet. Dailer currently handles outbound calls only. Inbound call support is planned for a future release.

Pricing & Billing

How much does Dailer cost?

₹299 per user per month. This includes unlimited calls, recording, and transcription. AI structuring is an optional add-on at ₹2 per minute.

Is it really free during alpha?

Yes. All features are free while we're in alpha. No credit card required. We'll give advance notice before any pricing takes effect.

What's included in the base plan?

Everything: one-click dialing, full call recording, automatic transcription, searchable history, team dashboard, and email support.

What's the AI add-on?

An optional feature that processes your transcripts to extract summaries, action items, sentiment, and structured data. Pay only for minutes you choose to analyze.

Are there per-call or per-minute charges?

No. The base plan is flat-rate with unlimited usage. The only per-minute charge is the optional AI structuring add-on.

Technical Requirements

What are the system requirements?

Windows 10 or 11, 8GB RAM minimum (16GB recommended for faster transcription), and a smartphone connected via Bluetooth.

Does it work on Mac or Linux?

Not currently. The desktop agent requires Windows for phone integration. The web dashboard works on any platform.

How much disk space does it need?

The app itself is small (~500MB including the AI model). Recordings are typically 1-2MB per minute of audio. You control when to delete old recordings.

Does it need a fast internet connection?

Only for syncing transcripts to your dashboard. Recording and transcription happen locally and don't require internet during the call.

Can multiple team members use the same computer?

Each user needs their own Windows computer with the desktop agent installed. The web dashboard supports unlimited logins.

Teams & Collaboration

Can my team see each other's calls?

Permissions are configurable. Managers can view team calls, while individual contributors see only their own by default.

How do I add team members?

Invite them via email from your dashboard. They'll set up their own desktop agent and start making calls immediately.

Is there a limit on team size?

No limit during alpha. Our pricing scales linearly — add users as you need them.

Can I share a transcript with someone outside my team?

Not yet, but shareable links are on our roadmap. For now, you can copy transcript text to share manually.

Does Dailer integrate with our CRM?

Not yet. CRM integrations (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) are planned. During alpha, we're focused on core functionality.

Alpha Program

What does 'alpha' mean?

It means the product works but is still being refined. Core features are functional. You may encounter occasional bugs. We fix things fast.

Will my data be safe during alpha?

Yes. We take data security seriously regardless of product stage. Your recordings and transcripts are handled with production-grade security.

What kind of feedback do you want?

Everything. What works, what doesn't, what's confusing, what's missing. Bug reports, feature requests, and workflow suggestions are all valuable.

How do I report issues?

Through the dashboard feedback button, email, or our contact form. We respond to all reports within one business day.

What happens after alpha?

We'll transition to paid plans with advance notice. Alpha users get priority access to new features and preferential pricing.

Support

How do I get help?

Email us or use the contact form. During alpha, you also have direct access to the founding team for urgent issues.

What are your support hours?

We respond within one business day, Monday through Saturday. Critical issues are addressed same-day.

Is there documentation?

Yes. Setup guides and FAQs are available in the dashboard. We're expanding documentation as features are finalized.

Do you offer onboarding help?

Yes. For teams of 5+, we offer a free setup call to get everyone running smoothly.

Can I request a feature?

Absolutely. We prioritize features based on user feedback. Submit requests through the dashboard or contact form.
